About Peter Patitsas
Peter Patitsas, MD, MBA, is an emergency medicine physician who provides highly specialized care to patients with serious or life-threatening injuries or illnesses. He is experienced in treating all kinds of emergencies, and along with the rest of emergency care team at Penn Highlands, provides patients with immediate access to specialty care and state-of-the-art technology at the moment you need it most. Dr. Patitsas has conducted research in KRAS associates with apoptotic response of CRC cells exposed to butyrate, coffee and propolis; cancer awareness and prevention; and oxyntic cells in necturas. He has published in topics relating to emergency medicine, as well as a manual for first-year medical students, and is the author of “The Athos Diet.” In addition, he holds an MBA from Penn State Smeal College of Business and has owned and managed a healthcare center. Dr. Patitsas’ personal mantra is to live by purpose, passion and productivity.
