About Kara Kimberly
Kara Kimberly, MD, is a board-certified ear, nose, and throat specialist at Penn Highlands Healthcare, providing care for patients from children to seniors. Dr. Kimberly performs procedures at both Penn Highlands State College and Penn Highlands Tyrone.
She is highly experienced in diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses that may require surgery such as ear tubes, and tonsil and adenoid removal. She is adept at the evaluation of children and adults with special needs.
Dr. Kimberly has extensive training and experience in sinus surgery and procedures to relieve nasal obstruction; has completed a high volume of skin cancer excisions requiring complex reconstruction, and thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Dr. Kimberly performs surgery for obstructive sleep apnea including Inspire implant.
Patients can call the office for an appointment for a variety of symptoms such as ear pain, tinnitus, hearing loss, runny nose, nosebleeds, congestion, chronic cough, skin or oral cavity lesions, snoring, concern for sleep apnea, difficulty swallowing, sore throat, hoarseness, and reflux.
